Since Norfolk Air launched their Melbourne service late last year there has been much interest shown from people living not only in Victoria but also from South Australia and Tasmania for an additional service to operate out of Melbourne. Norfolk Air understands the importance of choice and convenience in today's often-hectic lifestyle, and so are pleased to announce new flights to operate to and from Melbourne to commence on the 1st September 2008.

The NEW non-stop service will leave Melbourne International Airport at 09:00 am every Tuesday (from the 2nd Sept 08), and arrive on the island at 2:00 pm local time. This will compliment the existing service, which departs Melbourne on Fridays at 1:50pm and arrives in Norfolk Island at 5:50 pm.

The NEW return non-stop flight is scheduled for Mondays (starting on 1st Sept. 08), to depart Norfolk at 4:00 pm arriving in Melbourne at 7:20 pm, once again complimenting the existing Norfolk Island to Melbourne flights that leave at 8am on Fridays and arrive in Melbourne at 11.50am after a brief Sydney stopover.

Norfolk Air is very pleased that the continuing success of this service has encouraged the introduction of these additional flights, just 4 months after the original launch from Melbourne.

The extra flights will now add greater flexibility to passengers making their holiday get a way to Norfolk Island.
